Physician Certification in Hyperbaric Medicine
The Physician Certification in Hyperbaric Medicine recognizes licensed physicians who have completed approved training, supervised at least 300 hyperbaric treatments, and maintain active ACHM membership.
Physician Certification in Wound Care
The Physician Certification in Wound Care is open to licensed MD, DO, and DPM physicians who hold a current state medical license, have at least two years of clinical experience in wound care, and have completed a minimum of 20 hours of wound care continuing medical education (CME).
Certified Hyperbaric and Wound Specialist
The Certified Hyperbaric and Wound Specialist credential is designed for professionals with at least two years of hospital or outpatient experience as Hyperbaric Technicians and Wound Care Assistants, completion of 500 clinical hours per year in both hyperbaric and wound care, a 40-hour approved hyperbaric training course, and verified core competencies in hyperbaric therapy and wound care.
Certified Hyperbaric Specialist
The Certified Hyperbaric Specialist certification is intended for candidates with at least 500 hours of clinical hyperbaric experience per year over the past two years, completion of an approved 40-hour hyperbaric medicine course, and verified core competencies in hyperbaric therapy endorsed by their employer or medical director.
Certified Skin & Wound Specialist
The Certified Skin & Wound Specialist credential is for professionals with at least two years of hospital or outpatient experience, a minimum of 200 hours of clinical wound care practice per year, completion of 12 CME/CEU wound care credits, and verified core competencies in wound care endorsed by their employer or medical director.
